The largest of the three, Ganymede holds host to the most varied communities of all the moons in the 'Verse. The first moon to be settled, Ganymede has a culture most similar to that of Earth (at least, as far as I've been told). With this comes some baggage. Contrary to the other moons, Ganymede has a political sphere closest to that of 21st century Earth, the Earth of old.

 

Spirituality & Cooperation are a hard pass in most major cities. Conservatism and the Corporations are commonplace. Ganymede certainly isn't the worst place to live, but the pressures of society weigh heavy on the shoulders of those that call this moon home.

It is said that the lack of communication between the Earth-of-old and Ganymede's ports led to a conscious rejection of the progress made during New Earth's subsequent re-adjustment.

 

This weighs heavily on many Ganian workers, and the majority are increasingly finding inspiration in the empathy & spirituality of Io and Europa. It is likely we are yet to see the full potential of Ganymede.​
